Morning rush-hour traffic as viewed from your balcony is
guaranteed to be both light and tolerable. Back to nature - paddle one of our
kayaks for several kilometers up the mangrove fringed Amazonian-like Ilog Malino lagoon - but watch out for iguanas!

frontage embraces a stunning marine ecology with constant, natural air
conditioning from incoming cool sea breezes as frothy turquoise waves crash
onto the edge of the coral fringe only 100m away. To our right a deep
mangrove fringed river can be seen where frogs, crabs and iguanas thrive and bangus are harvested.
Such natural environments are forever changing as tides come and
go, the river rises, falls and twists and shade from our coconut trees (boco) create a moving visual feast of textured patterns
on our lawns. No wonder why so many Filipina girls chose to have their beach
wedding at Punta!
In 2011 our new Don Quixote bar (above, below ) was opened by the
riverside next to our new Spa facilities offering indoor pursuits such as
pool, darts, karaoke, table tennis in addition to a range of board games,WiFi facilities, cable TV, and video and book
libraries. Outdoor pastimes and games include volleyball, kayaking, beach
games, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, beach combing,
walking and jogging. A range of Team Building, artistic and cultural
pursuits, aerobics and live bands can be arranged for groups with advance
notice. Bonfires, fireworks and beach BBQ facilities are also available under
the stars on our canderoma fringed island.
The resort owners Dr Ian and Aileen McFeat-Smith
(above left) aim to provide a safe holiday for you with a blend of local and
international flavor. We are a family resort that caters for both fun and
relaxation for all members of your group. The resort has been in full
operation since 2006 and whilst being relatively new is well experienced in
hotel management operation with a Team of 30-40 trained staff that are
retained all year round irrespective of market conditions. Our BLSTLC school
activities compliments our constant need for training, individual development
and improving the range of skills needed by our staff to meet your diverging
needs and expectations. The resort has been built and is being developed with
security, sustainability and environmental integration in mind. In addition
to safety and fun amenities, providing high quality food at affordable prices
in the provinces remains our constant challenge. Aileen meets this task with
an unusual level of vigor and enthusiasm and we are focused on reducing the

Sampagitas. Reared in local captivity these rare beauties
are Philippines National Flowers that have a strong and alluring fragrance.
They emerge in abundance at hotspots such as Punta’s beach weddings but only
infrequently elsewhere. They serve to quicken the heart of passing foreign
tourists such as Stig from Sweden. Their recent
emergence worldwide has helped cement East – West relationships and has led
to the term balikbayan which literally means
returning Filipinas. Welcome back anytime guys and

Punta’s Riverside Spa (see main menu) has two large Jacuzzis, a
Sauna and plenty of masseurs to rejuvenate you and yours and trim you back
